About
I'm a Northern Beaches web designer
I'm Tomas. BuildIT is my studio for local businesses on Sydney's Northern Beaches. I design and build the website and set up the domain. Hosting and monitoring are optional, so you can send customers a link you're proud of either way.
Who you'll be talking to
Not long ago I was making choices I'm not proud of. I'm changing that, right now. This business is how I'm doing it, one honest job at a time.
My core values are what I'm doing now, every day: honesty, owning it, giving back, earning trust, and showing up. I owe my community, so I build websites for free for any Northern Beaches charity, whatever they do and whoever they are. My first 5 clients get a free design and build, and I'll earn their honest review. Hosting is not included in either of those. The longer version is on Why I'm doing this.
You don't need to know anything about websites. I explain things in plain English and handle the technical side: HTTPS, and your choice of a .com or a .com.au. Hosting is optional.
BuildIT is backed by the experience of Nick Finlayson, founder and CEO of Innovo, who built the Lux-Lashes and Innovo sites on the Work page. Lux-Lashes is a mobile lash artist on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Innovo is at innovotech.com.
